Translations

We understand that a great final product starts with an even better translation. CKP uses some of the best translators from all over the world. We use only skilled professionals and copywriters with extensive background in writing for print, radio, TV, film and advertising. Our writers are always up-to-date on current usage and industry specific terms, easily adapting your original script into their native tongue while incorporating all cultural nuances and differences.

Proofreading

After completion, translations are then checked for accuracy and style by a second translator with expertise in your subject area. The native-born language director, who will eventually direct the session, also reviews the translation for timing and flow of the script to ensure a reading as close as possible to the original. CKP also provides proofreading of existing, client-delivered scripts, again checking for accuracy, style and flow.

Timing

Our translators know the difference between a print, voiceover (conversational) and subtitle translation (short.) Translations for voiceovers are timed to fit the original and our subtitle translations are done concise and in short sentences to fit the 2-line format used in subtitling.

Transcriptions

CKP provides transcription services in more than 70 languages from most audio, video or multimedia formats. If the quality of your historic recording has deteriorated over time you can rely on our experienced audio engineers for help.  To ensure accuracy, an experienced proofreader will check the finished transcript before it is sent to the client.
